With friends 8.3/10 Staff: 10 , Breakfast: 8 , Clean: 8 , Room: 6 , Value for money: 8 , Locality: 10 The room was a bit disappointing. It was not what I would call a jr suite, more a spacious double room. But all in all we were pleased with the hotel. Friendly staff, great location

Groups 9.5/10 Staff: 10 , Breakfast: 10 , Clean: 10 , Room: 8 , Value for money: 9 , Locality: 10 Good hotel with character in excellent location.Very friendly staff. Bathroom very good. Breakfast was brilliant. However, we booked deluxe rooms for my sister's 60th birthday, basic room with no tea making facillities and although asked which member of the group was 60,there was no effort on hotel's part to recognise this. A little gesture would have gone a long way.
