The Red&Blue design hotel Prague is located in central Prague next to the beautiful Kinsky Garden in the area of the Lesser Town, within walking distance to all major Prague sights.

This new four star hotel was designed by the well-known, award winning architecture and interior design company Jestico+Whiles.

The Red&Blue design hotel Prague boasts 52 luxury design rooms on five floors. All of the 42 design rooms and 10 superior design rooms offer a combination of highest comfort and modern functionality. Half of the hotel rooms offer breathtaking views of the Kinsky Gardens. Rooms at the top of the hotel offer a nice city view.

The rooms are decorated with our signature red or blue. They are equipped with adjustable air-conditioning, mini-bar, safety deposit box, wifi connection, LCD TV, armchair, smoke detector, chair and writing desk, table lamp, wardrobe, coffee and tea making facilities.

Spacious bathrooms include a bathtub / rain fall shower, WC, hairdryer, magnifying mirror and complimentary toiletries. All superior rooms are equipped with both bathtub and shower.

The lower level of this new stylish hotel contains a unique breakfast restaurant with winter garden and summer patio.

The Winter garden can be also used as a conference room with capacity of 25. For afternoon meetings, the whole space can be converted into a meeting room with capacity of 80 in theater style seating.

The problem was the request for a deposit against the mini-bar on arrival. The receptionist wanted a credit card or an embossed debit card of which we had neither. Payment had to be made upon arrival and the receptionist then demanded a cash deposit upfront which we had to provide (even though we paid for our room by debit card). The deposit (1000 CZK) was greater than the value of the mini-bar! I have stayed in 100s of hotels in the Czech Republic and throughout Europe and never have encountered this level of distrust. Nowhere on the booking information was this advised - upon leaving we had to wait while the receptionist checked that nothing had been taken from the mini-bar before handing the deposit back. The level of customer mistrust seems to run through the hotel with "random" checks being made while actually eating, that we were genuine guests.

Hotel Thank you that you have choose our hotel for your stay in Prague. We require embossed credit card deposit from every single customer as guarantee for possible extra services used in the hotel (it is not only minibar). In case guest do not own embossed card (we make old style imprint, we do not preauthorize card and hold your money as in most of hotels in the world), we require cash deposit, which is returned during check out. As we are returning cash we need to check, if nothing has been used from minibar or if all extra services are paid. We apologize if this gave you feeling that you are random check, but this is standard procedure. Even through this issue I hope you have enjoyed your stay in Prague.
